Emergency sheet

If one day you can’t, how would your family open your accounts? That’s what the emergency sheet is for.

Go to Settings → Import & export → Print emergency sheet. You can choose:

  • Which categories to print, or only favorites;
  • What to include: passwords, linked emails and phones, security questions, unused backup codes, two-factor secrets or QR codes, notes;
  • Whether to leave blank lines to hand-write the master password and recovery key.

The printed sheet also explains how to restore the data.

Keep in mind

The printed sheet is a plain-text password book:

  • Print it on your own home printer — don’t “Save as PDF” to your computer or cloud drive.
  • Hand-write the master password and recovery key in the blank lines; don’t print them.
  • Keep it somewhere safe that your family knows about, such as a safe.
  • It only reflects what was in the vault when printed. Reprint after changing important passwords.
